School Uniform

As part of our ethos we would like all children to wear the correct uniform properly at all times. This includes to and from school, the playground, corridors and classrooms.

It is important for the promotion of social independence that the younger children are able to manage their own clothes and shoes (preferably no laces). This should be considered when purchasing school uniform.

In order to return lost property, all uniform and personal items should be clearly marked with your child’s name. Any lost unnamed uniform will be put into lost property. Lost property still unclaimed after one term will be sold or donated.

Our school has a simple uniform which we expect all children to wear and is non-gender specific.

Our Uniform

Winter:

Yellow polo shirt
Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore
White or grey socks

Summer:

Grey shorts or skirt
Yellow polo shirt
Yellow gingham dress
White or grey socks

Blue school sweatshirt or cardigan ideally with embroidered school logo.

Non logo sweatshirts/cardigans may be purchased locally

Footwear:

Black sensible shoes (no trainers or coloured laces)
We believe that it is both practical and safer for children to wear flat and sensible shoes.
Platform soles or high heels are not suited to the busy school day. Shoes must be changed for P.E.

PE Kit:

For indoor P.E. and Games, we ask all children to have plain black or white trainers (not plimsolls), a plain white T-shirt and plain navy or black P.E. shorts. Children may wear plain white t-shirts that are embroidered with the school logo.

For outdoor P.E. and Games, we ask all children to have plain navy, black or grey leggings or joggers. A plain black or navy hoodie may be worn on cold days. PE fleeces are also available to purchase from our uniform supplier. All clothes and shoes should be in a drawstring bag labelled with the child’s name.

Recycled Uniform

We do keep a selection of recycled school uniform in school for a small charge.  Please contact the school office for further details.
